Ron Foster, M.S. Physics, has previously held industry positions at Texas Instruments and Honeywell. His title at Honeywell was Integrated Circuit Design Manager. Mr. Foster subsequently served for several years as Director of Innovation Incubator at the University of Arkansas where he led efforts to encourage technology business startups. From 2006 to 2010 he was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Axept, LLC, a startup company focused on MEMS. He brings broad experience in the launch of young technology companies to NanoWatt Design

Omid Moghadam, Director

Omid Moghadam nwd

Mr. Omid Moghadam is an inventor and serial entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in commercializing new technologies. His main area of focus is on creation of new ventures and development of self-sustainable business models. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of VIC and has held previous posts with the Harvard Medical School’s Center for Biomedical Informatics, and Xovo (a firm he founded to commercialize new genomics tools). Prior to Harvard, he co-founded Integrated Analytics Solutions, an Intel genomics division and Dossia, a corporation that created the first national network for managing personally controlled health records. He serves on the board of directors of Health-e Pty of Australia, Resounding Health Inc., and Best Shot Foundation, as well as on the advisory boards of Genophen Inc., Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Children's Hospital Boston.

 Dr. Calvin Goforth, Director

Dr. Calvin Goforth has extensive experience in start-up company development including intellectual property assessment, building strong development teams, raising private and government funding, and bringing products to market. Early in his career, he held positions at NASA and Rocketdyne, served as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Arkansas, and founded Vector, Inc. (to build open-architecture PC-based controllers), which he later sold. He is Founder and President of VIC, a technology venture development firm supporting the growth of promising early-stage technology companies.

Richard L. Bond, Director

Mr. Richard L. Bond was Chief Executive Officer of $45B Tyson Foods from 2006 to 2009. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer from 2003 to 2006, and was Co-Chief Operating Officer and Group President from 2001 to 2003. From 1997 until its acquisition by Tyson in September 2001, he was President and COO of IBP, Inc. He has deep experience in mergers and acquisitions. He is currently an active investor in multiple technology startup companies.
